Work experience

Ms. Chen has practiced law in China for nearly 20 years and has profound research and legal practice experience, both in intellectual property law and corporate law, with a focus on intellectual property rights protection, litigation and dispute resolution, mergers and acquisitions, and foreign direct investment.  In particular, Ms. Chen specializes in handling the operation and intellectual property rights protection of Internet enterprises, high-tech enterprises, and culture and media enterprises.
Ms. Chen represents a variety of multinational companies in handling their intellectual property matters in China, which include designing intellectual property rights protection strategies, handling intellectual property litigation cases involving trademark infringement, anti-counterfeiting, copyright infringement, unfair competition, trade secrets, and patent infringement.  Ms. Chen provides intellectual property-related transaction and due diligence services, drafts and reviews technical and copyright-related agreements, and participates in technology transfer, technology licensing and other related intellectual property rights negotiations.  Ms. Chen also drafts trademark review, opposition and dispute claims, and patent invalidation claims.
Ms. Chen also handles other commercial disputes, foreign investment disputes, equity and asset transfers, strategic planning, state-owned asset disposal transactions, and advising clients on operational matters.
Ms. Chen has been recognized for her outstanding legal work as China Top 15 Female Lawyers (2015) by Asian Legal Business and China Top 15 intellectual property Lawyers (2016) by Asian Legal Business, and has been recommended for intellectual property (2019) by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.  Ms. Chen was named to the 2018 list of 1000 foreign-related legal case experts of the PRC Ministry of Justice.
