Ms. Yang specializes in handling civil and commercial disputes. Before joining Han Kun's dispute resolution department, Ms. Yang worked for several years in the firm's transactions department, where she focused on venture capital and private equity investment, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters.
The clients Ms. Yang represents include various domestic or international venture capital and private equity firms, industrial and strategic investment institutions, well-known multinational and local companies, startups and rapidly growing companies. Ms. Yang has rendered legal services for enterprises covering industries such as internet, advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, new energy, semiconductor, medical health, real estate, consumer, culture and entertainment and financial technology.
Ms. Yang is experienced in advising various types of investors in all stages of venture capital and private equity financing. In the areas of post-investment management and dispute resolution, Ms. Yang has represented investors in several exit transactions for completed investment projects (including repurchase and equity transfer), and provided preliminary solutions and drafted exit documents for the invested companies in response to repurchase arbitration initiated by investors. In the areas of fundraising and investment, Ms. Yang has represented domestic and international institutions in hundreds of domestic and foreign private equity and venture capital projects and several merger and acquisition projects, and has provided legal services for numerous startups in domestic and overseas structure construction and restructuring, employee equity incentives, private equity financing and compliance. Ms. Yang has also led or participated in the execution of many investment fund formation and operation and insurance fund investment projects.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Yang practiced law at Zhong Lun Law Firm in Beijing.
