Work experience

Mr.Lin started practicing law in 2000 and established Shanghai Yuanben Law Firm in 2007, serving as a senior partner.  He joined Han Kun in February 2022 following the merger between Han Kun and Shanghai Yuanben.
Mr. Lin's practice areas are commercial dispute resolution and bankruptcy and liquidation.  Mr. Lin has been hired as an arbitrator by the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission/Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) and has broad case experience and profound legal understanding in the field of commercial dispute resolution, including commercial contract disputes, equity investment disputes, and asset management disputes.  Mr. Lin is skilled in administrative litigation and has represented government agencies in winning multiple major and complex cases.  He has extensive practical experience in the field of corporate bankruptcy and reorganization, representing creditors, debtors, or investors in corporate bankruptcy liquidation and reorganization procedures.  Mr. Lin provides personalized solutions for his clients, owing to has unique insights into the disposal of distressed assets, including complex legal relationship analysis, legal risk assessment, crisis management, and breach relief.
Mr. Lin has extensive experience in the field of legal services for state-owned assets and enterprises, serving as a legal advisor to the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, providing legal support for major government decisions and dispute resolution.  Mr. Lin serves as a legal advisor to the Shanghai Stock Exchange and has extensive experience in state-owned property rights transactions, state-owned asset disposals, public resource transactions, and other fields.  Mr. Lin also provides legal services to multiple government departments and state-owned enterprise groups, including the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jing'an District, Guotai Haitong, Shanghai Data Group, Shanghai Huayi Group, Yangtze River Delta Investment Company, Shanghai Yidian, Guotai Junan, Shanghai Guangming Group, Shanghai Jing'an Chengfa Group, Shanghai Sleepless City Group, Shanghai Wusongkou Investment Group, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Group, and Shanghai Huali Asset Management Co., Ltd.
