Work experience

Jiayue Ma specializes in financial services, cross-border asset management, corporate compliance, data compliance, and other general corporate matters.  She provides legal services to international financial institutions, asset management companies, and various multinational and domestic companies.  Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Ma worked at Linklaters LLP and Allen & Overy LLP.

Educational background

Ms. Ma is a Ph.D. candidate in law at Fudan University.  She holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws degree from China University of Political Science and Law.  She was also a China Scholarship Council-sponsored scholar at the University of California, Berkeley.
