Work experience

Ms. Ma specializes in international commercial arbitration, cross-border dispute resolution, and domestic commercial litigation.  She has handled numerous complex commercial disputes and intellectual property cases.  Ms. Ma has been involved in several international arbitration cases administered by institutions such as the Beijing Arbitration Commission, Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, and the American Arbitration Association.  She has also assisted with labor arbitration cases heard in UK courts.  During her studies at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), Ms. Ma interned at various local law firms and at the CIETAC.  While studying in Paris, she had the opportunity to visit and learn from the world's leading international arbitration firms.  Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Ma worked as a legal case manager at the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center for three years.  Alongside her role as a legal case manager, Ms. Ma significantly contributed to the WIPO Center's development of a dispute resolution policy tailored to the specific needs China's national domain names.  Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Ms. Ma and her colleagues, as of August 1, 2019, the WIPO Center has become the only non-Chinese entity to offer domain name dispute resolution services internationally for the .CN and .中国 (China) country code Top-Level Domains (ccTLD), which are among the world's largest ccTLDs.
