Professionals Xueyu Liao

Work experience

Ms. Liao joined Han Kun Law Offices in September 2025.  Before that, she worked at the Shanghai office of Paul Hastings LLP.  Ms. Liao has substantial experience advising corporate clients and investment banks on a wide range of securities offerings in Hong Kong and the United States.  Her representative clients span diverse industries, including new energy technology development, healthcare, financial technology, e-commerce platforms, and cross-border logistics.

Educational background

Ms. Liao received her LL.B. from Xiamen University in 2020 and an LL.M. in International Law from Fudan University in 2022.  She subsequently pursued legal studies at the University of Chicago Law School, earning an LL.M. degree in 2025.
