Cherry's practice focuses on a full range of transactions in the maritime and offshore sectors, including ship finance and leasing, shipbuilding, ship sale and purchase, vessel operation and management, asset acquisition and disposal, joint ventures, shipping funds, and other shipping-related transactions.
Cherry has assisted major domestic and international banks, syndicates, and well-known domestic leasing companies and shipowners in a variety of cross-border pre-delivery and post-delivery ship financing and leasing transactions. Cherry also advises domestic and international shipowners on shipbuilding, ship sale and purchase, and vessel operation and management. In addition, Cherry advises shipping companies and leading cruise operators on a wide range of shipping and corporate matters.
Before joining Han Kun, Cherry Jin worked at Dentons Shanghai, Stephenson Harwood (Hong Kong and Shanghai offices), Clifford Chance (Hong Kong and Shanghai offices), Clyde & Co (Shanghai office), and Ince & Co (Shanghai office).
