Work experience

Qian Wei joined Han Kun Law Offices in April 2026.  Prior to joining Han Kun, Ms. Wei worked at Zhong Lun Law Firm for nearly five years, during which she accumulated extensive experience in banking and finance as well as financial regulatory compliance matters, together with substantial client service experience. 
During her practice, Ms. Wei has been involved in a broad range of cross-border financing transactions, including bilateral loans, syndicated loans, project financings, sovereign financings and acquisition financings.  She has developed a strong understanding of complex financing structures and is experienced in coordinating the interests of multiple stakeholders to facilitate the smooth execution of transactions.  In addition, she has advised clients on financial derivatives matters.
In banking and finance transactions, her work covers the entire transaction lifecycle, including conducting legal due diligence, participating in transaction negotiations, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, issuing PRC legal opinions, and handling security perfection registrations, foreign debt registrations, and other relevant governmental approvals and filings.
Ms. Wei has also provided long-term legal services to a wide range of domestic and international financial institutions, including commercial banks, wealth management subsidiaries of banks, financial leasing companies and asset management companies, in relation to financial regulatory compliance matters.  Her practice covers international economic sanctions, internal corporate governance of financial institutions, data security and personal information protection compliance, enabling her to provide clients with comprehensive regulatory and compliance solutions.

Educational background

Qian Wei obtained her LL.B. degree from the Law School of Xiamen University in 2019 and her LL.M. degree from the Law School of Fudan University in 2021.
