Work experience

Mr. Liu has practiced law since 2010 and joined Han Kun Law Offices (Shanghai) in 2026.  Prior to joining Han Kun, he practiced with Global Law Office (Shanghai) and Dentons (Shanghai).
Mr. Liu focuses on cross-border investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, insurance law and insurance funds investment, and life sciences and healthcare.  He has advised numerous insurance companies, insurance asset managers, multinationals, and high-growth companies across the insurance, healthcare, new energy, and technology sectors.  He has extensive experience in inbound and outbound investment of insurance funds, cross-border M&A, and outbound investment compliance.

Educational background

Mr. Liu graduated from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics with an LL.B. degree and an LL.M. degree in international law.
