Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Mr. Can Yin has recently joined the firm as a partner. His joining the firm will further strengthen and enhance Han Kun's international capital markets capabilities.
Mr. Yin's practice covers public market financings such as initial public offerings and subsequent issuances, and also private transactions such as pre-IPO financings. Mr. Yin represents issuers and underwriters in both public and private equity securities offerings in Hong Kong and U.S. capital markets and advises greater Chinese clients on their mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, and takeovers. He also regularly advises Hong Kong and U.S. public companies on regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters. Mr. Yin has advised many clients on IPOs in Hong Kong and the United States, as well as multinational companies and major private equity firms on mergers and acquisitions, covering a wide spectrum of industries, including technology, healthcare, consumer, and new energy.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Yin worked in the Beijing and Hong Kong offices of two top international firms for nearly two decades. Mr. Yin has been ranked as a highly Recommended Lawyer by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific in Capital Markets category in 2024 and listed as "Top 15 Rising Stars" by Asia Law Business by Thomson Reuters in 2023.
Mr. Yin graduated from Peking University Law School with Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees. He also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Columbia University Law School. Mr. Yin is qualified to practice as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and is a member of the New York State Bar. Mr. Yin also holds a PRC bar qualification.
Mr. Yin will split his time between Beijing and Hong Kong. The addition of Mr. Can Yin further enhances the firm's ability to provide a full range of legal services to clients.
