On June 13, 2024, CLECSS announced that Han Kun lawyer Jie Wang has been named as one of the CLECSS Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers for 2025.
Ms. Wang graduated from East China University of Politics and Law with both bachelor's and master's degrees. She has been practicing law since 2014 and has extensive experience in the legal field with King & Wood Mallesons, Fortune Global 500 companies, and a state-owned securities trader. Ms. Wang specializes in legal matters involving financial asset management, which she handles from multiple dimensions and perspectives.
Ms. Wang specializes in financial asset management law and has rich experience in the areas of asset securitization, structured finance, asset management, banking and finance, and financing compliance. In recent years, Mr. Wang has also assisted many financial institutions in resolving non-litigation risks in the financial asset management and has accumulated abundant experience in this area.
As deputy editor-in-chief, Ms. Wang authored the book Illustrating Asset Securitization – Key Points and Difficult Points in Legal Practice, which is one of the best-selling books in the field of asset securitization. She has published many articles in the field of financial asset management for other professional public websites and is popular among the clients she serves.
CLECSS developed the 10th Top Ten Outstanding Young Lawyers list this year after a months-long selection process in which candidates were carefully evaluated in terms of their educational background, areas of expertise and location of practice, among other considerations. Most of these 10 outstanding talents named in the final list, including Ms. Wang, are from PRC firms, and one is from an international firm.
