Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Mr. Jinquan Zhang has recently joined the firm, further strengthening the firm's capabilities in real estate and construction and commercial dispute resolution.
Mr. Zhang started his legal career since 2008 and specializes in representing clients in the real estate and construction industries and handling civil and commercial dispute resolution matters. Mr. Zhang represents his clients with legal expertise and strong communication and team management abilities. He provides comprehensive legal solutions based on his clients' medium to long-term business objectives and creates value through professionalism in numerous major, complex, and challenging commercial cases.
In addition to Mr. Zhang's core practice areas, Mr. Zhang also has extensive experience in the industries of healthcare, high-end manufacturing, new energy and new materials, shipbuilding and maritime. Mr. Zhang's recent representations include representing a domestic pharmaceutical company in completing A+H share listings, which was the largest IPO in the Asian biopharmaceutical industry in 2020; representing a technology company owned by an overseas sovereign fund in completing a domestic acquisition and investment project, establishing a new benchmark for attracting investment in Shanghai's cultural industry from abroad; providing comprehensive commercial real estate legal services for the construction of a domestic landmark by an overseas chaebol; representing a top state-owned enterprise in acquiring several landmark residential projects in the Yangtze River Delta region; and representing a foreign-funded enterprise and a well-known Shanghai urban renewal company in jointly acquiring a commercial complex project in central Shanghai.
Mr. Zhang received a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from Nanjing University. Mr. Zhang is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the All-China Youth Federation, Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Legal Sector of All-China Youth Federation, Vice Chair of the Shanghai Youth Federation, member of the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and member of the Expert Group for Legislative Consultation. Mr. Zhang has won several honors such as National Model Worker, National May 1 Labor Medal, Shanghai Model Worker, Outstanding Communist Party Member of Shanghai, Shanghai May Fourth Youth Medal and Shanghai Outstanding Young Talents.
The addition of Mr. Zhang will further enhance the firm's business exploration in the Yangtze River Delta and inject new impetus into the firm's development.
