On January 9, 2026, CLECSS announced the list of "CLECSS x HerGrowth Most Influential Women Lawyers Award 2025", aiming to recognize the significant contributions of women lawyers in the legal field. Han Kun partner Lili Wu was honored on the list and received the top award, the "Diamond Award".
Ms. Lili Wu is a partner at Han Kun Law Offices. She specializes in end-to-end intellectual property portfolio management and rights enforcement, with extensive experience in managing patent portfolios in China and globally for large and medium-sized multinational companies, enhancing patent value, and providing corporate intellectual property management and consulting services. Ms. Wu's practice areas include industries such as artificial intelligence, internet, fast-moving consumer goods, telecommunications, information technology, automotive, medical devices, and new energy.
With nearly 30 years of legal practice, Ms. Wu has handled numerous patent invalidation, administrative litigation, and civil litigation cases. The patent prosecution, invalidation, and enforcement cases represented and led by Ms. Wu have been repeatedly selected by the Supreme People's Court as typical cases and by the Beijing Higher People's Court as innovative cases. With the global expansion of Chinese enterprises, Ms. Wu has assisted many Chinese companies in establishing global intellectual property portfolios and managing overseas intellectual property risks. Ms. Wu has extensive experience in standard essential patent (SEP) licensing negotiations and patent litigation, having represented clients in many well-known SEP disputes and supported licensing negotiations, with deep expertise in cutting-edge legal issues such as FRAND, antitrust implications in patent infringement, and their interplay.
Ms. Wu is also actively involved in international intellectual property organizations, leading and contributing to research projects and report writing, and regularly speaks at international conferences. For many consecutive years, she has been recognized by Chambers as a leading IP lawyer in China, named an IP Star and a Top 250 Women in IP by MIP, ranked among China's Top 15 Intellectual Property Lawyers by ALB in 2018, and recognized as one of ALB's Top 15 Female Lawyers in 2020.
