Han Kun Law Offices is pleased to announce that Mr. Quan Hou has recently joined the firm. The addition of Mr. Hou will further strengthen and enhance Han Kun's capital markets capabilities. Mr. Hou will be mainly based in the firm's Beijing office.
Mr. Hou specializes in domestic and international listings, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, private equity and venture capital investments, and bankruptcy reorganization investments. He advised on the first red-chip company listing on the STAR Market and has extensive experience in major and precedent-setting projects involving multi-jurisdictional listings of red-chip companies and domestic enterprises, and complex capital markets transactions. Mr. Hou has substantial experience in initial public offerings (IPOs), private placements, major asset restructurings of listed companies, mergers by absorption, and acquisitions of listed companies in both domestic and international securities markets. He has also provided legal services to numerous listed companies, large state-owned enterprises, and private companies in connection with financing transactions, general corporate matters, equity incentive plans, mergers and acquisitions, asset restructurings, bankruptcy reorganization investments, and corporate restructurings.
Prior to joining Han Kun, Mr. Hou worked for over 10 years at several other leading Chinese law firms. Mr. Hou is a member of the PRC Bar.
Mr. Hou will leverage the firm's integrated platform and work closely with partners in relevant practice areas to further advance the development of capital markets and corporate practices, continuously enhancing the firm's comprehensive service capabilities and market influence in these areas.
