Two Han Kun partners included in China Business Law Journal's A-List 2020

China Business Law Journal recently published its 2020 list of elite lawyers (the "A-List"). The A-List includes 200 top private practice lawyers for China-related business, with 100 lawyers working in PRC firms and 100 in foreign firms, who have demonstrated outstanding performance in China-related practice and have impressed their clients with excellent professional skills. The A-List highlights lawyers who are regarded as authorities in the industry. Han Kun partners Charles Li and Ms. You Yang were selected for their outstanding performances.
Charles Li specializes in domestic and overseas listings and reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investment, foreign investment, and intellectual property protection. He has a deep understanding of, and tremendous practical experience with, relevant industrial policies, corporate structures, capital operations, financial arrangements, industrial investment, and project management. Mr. Li serves a broad range of clients, including multinational companies, start-ups and fast-growing companies. He represents clients in diverse industries, including the Internet, telecommunications, information technology, energy, clean technology, consumer products, biology, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals.
Ms. You Yang has served as general legal counsel for a well-known trust company for many years, and has advised on dispute resolutions for many trust companies and companies engaged in a wide array of asset management services. Ms. Yang has proven expertise in handling new and complex asset management-related disputes through litigation and arbitration procedures, achieving results satisfactory to her clients. Since 2011, she has represented clients including trust companies and securities companies, fund companies and their subsidiaries, in handling more than 100 dispute resolution cases involving trusts, funds, and asset management and nested asset management products, involving amounts exceeding RMB20 billion and subject matters covering trust loans, equity investments, stock and debt, specific asset income rights/repurchases of equity (stock) income rights, securities investment, and the application and implementation of compulsory execution for the satisfaction of debt claims, objections to execution, and lawsuits objecting to execution. Ms. Yang often provides professional training, business consulting services and compliance training for well-known trust companies and companies engaged in asset management services.
