Before joining Han Kun in 2023, Ms. Yu worked for over 10 years in the Singapore office of Duane Morris & Selvam LLP. She focuses her practice on private wealth, wealth management and financial services, and cross-border transactions. Ms. Yu has participated in advising over 80 high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices in Singapore on matters such as designing family office structures and applying for tax exemptions, family trusts, succession planning, applying for asset management licenses, and nationality planning. She advises listed and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and cross-border transactions. In addition, Ms. Yu regularly assists PRC corporations in setting up a presence in Southeast Asia and in undertaking corporate restructurings and also advises company officers on their duties, responsibilities, and employment-related matters.
