Mr. Zhao's practice mainly focuses on dispute resolution and intellectual property, including international commercial arbitration and domestic commercial arbitration and litigation. Mr. Zhao has participated in litigation cases heard by courts at multiple levels and arbitration proceedings administered by CIETAC, BAC, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, and AAA, and he has also acted as co-counsel in court proceedings in United States, Hong Kong, Luxembourg, and Cayman.
Mr. Zhao's practice covers a wide range of commercial disputes, including equity repurchases, bankruptcy and liquidation, corporate management, cross-border equity misappropriation, etc. In the area of intellectual property, Mr. Zhao has addressed disputes pertaining to source code infringement, trade secret misappropriation, trademark licenses, technology transfer agreements, and patent development cooperation.
Before joining Han Kun Law Offices, Mr. Zhao practiced in the Beijing office of Hogan Lovells International LLP, where he assisted foreign enterprises in intellectual property enforcement and management in China.
