Mr. Liu practices in dispute resolution, with a particular focus on complex cross-border commercial disputes and corporate control disputes. Drawing on his academic training and practical experience, he possesses an in-depth understanding of both Chinese law and common law. With years of practice under his belt, Mr. Liu excels at developing case strategies from a commercial perspective, delivering tailored and effective dispute resolution solutions to clients to safeguard their interests to the fullest extent.
Mr. Liu regularly represents clients in litigation before people’s courts at all levels, including the Supreme People’s Court. He has handled numerous high-value, factually complex and industry-influential dispute cases covering investment and financing disputes, equity disputes, fund disputes, and international trade disputes.
Mr. Liu also has extensive arbitration experience. He has represented PRC and overseas clients in a large volume of arbitration matters administered by renowned domestic and international arbitral institutions, including CIETAC, Beijing Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Arbitration Center, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, HKIAC, SIAC, and LMAA. He has also been appointed as an arbitrator with arbitral institutions.
